Title: The Brave Elephant

One day, a herd of elephants was crossing a river. The river was flooded with mud and water.

‘Tan–tan–Taraaa!’ Suddenly the head elephant trumpeted loudly to let his herd know that there was a flood.

The youngest elephant from the herd had never swum in such a strong current. He was scared.

He heard the trumpet call. Immediately, he started to swim towards the sound.

He crossed the river safely.

All the elephants praised him.

Moral: Courage and presence of mind help us overcome difficulties.
